Background missing

The icons are not really visible because the overall UL background is missing

Try change css from inherit to a solid colour. The problem is if I hardcode it then if someone uses themes it will look weird but obviously transparent isn't ideal.

The problem gets solved when the UL would be half transparent too. I tried it with white and works just perfect in developer console but as style.css I could not get it working until now. somehow it is not taking the css file. Probably you could add the variable for the background also to the

as than the text below that
layer woudl be no more visible and you could read the icons.
