I would like to ask to use GitHub Releases to store firmware releases.

  • Firmware files, change notes, and a reference to the corresponding commit are stored in one place.
  • Unlike http://athome.kaashoek.com/tinySA[4]/DFU/, GitHub allows a secure connection only.
  • If needed, it's possible to automate release creation process via scripting language, e.g., with this Python wrapper over GitHub API.
