I was thinking about how to update the documentation and I find that one way is creating an update section which informs of the new content, the latest changes, fixes... The idea is that we update the documentation whenever there is a significant amount of work so that people can keep track of the changes and don't have to re-read everything again.
Also, it would be desirable to have a notification system for followers who want to know about the changes in documentation. Github doesn't seem to support that feature, so one thing which come to mind is to have a mailing group for those who are interested.
