The docs say "Run gunicorn -k uvicorn.workers.UvicornWorker for production." as seen here:

But uvicorn has its own multiprocess manager now as of 0.30.0 (almost 9 months ago as of today) and FastAPI maintainer has also said you no longer need gunicorn thanks to this change.
Why is gunicorn still recommended in the docs? Is it what should still be used?
