Motivation
Serializing workflows using a standard format would make easier to interact with other Workflow Management Systems and would ease communication between EKumi's components.
Investigation
The XPDL and BPEL are the de facto standards for business workflows. However, they do not seem adapted to my needs.
I consider that the following languages are worth investigating:
