The filtering of derived series is NOT checking for intersection of the var value and ds_1 vs intersection of the var value and ds_2, instead, ds_1 is used for both intersection evaluations:
for var in series_val.keys():
if derived_val[var] is not None and intersection(derived_val[var], ds_1) == intersection(derived_val[
var], ds_1):
derived_val[var] = intersection(derived_val[var], ds_1)
In comparison to the original implementation in Rscript (agg_stat.R):
for(var in listSeriesVar){
if( !is.null(listDiffVal[[var]]) && intersect(listDiffVal[[var]], listSeriesDiff1) == intersect(listDiffVal[[var]], listSeriesDiff2) ){
listDiffVal[[var]] = intersect(listDiffVal[[var]], listSeriesDiff1);
}
