Alpine 3.24 images are currently available in the dotnet/nightly repos for testing purposes.

Typically, we release these with the next .NET patch update. The next update is 2026-07-14. That's still about three weeks away. Alpine 3.24 released at kind of an unfortunate time for .NET (the same day as our last patch release).

The schedule I described isn't set in stone. It's just a convention. @richlander @mthalman what do you think about shipping 3.24 mid-cycle, like this week or next? @richlander, how is the 3.24 testing going with the Runtime?

Thanks for the fast responses in this and my other ticket. I did not look in the nightly repos, sorry. We are currently switching to alpine images and it would have been nice to directly switch to 3.24.
A release on next patch day is OK for me, we seem to have bad timing.
