Reserve prefix "Asp" on NuGet

The "Asp" prefix on NuGet does not appear to be reserved. May I please ask if someone would consider 'reserving' the prefix on NuGet?

Not a bad idea. Do you have a specific case where it was confusing? That will help support my argument. I'm also weighing between the prefix Asp.* or Asp.Versioning.*. The versioning prefix is more specific and less likely to be problem with any other packages - now or in the future.

Not so much confusing. I was concerned about whether it was a legitimate package, so checked the author(s) of that specific version to check.

FWIW, I have submitted a formal request to the NuGet team to request the prefix reservation per the ID Prefix Reservation guidelines. We'll see what happens and whether I even get a response. 🤞🏽
