This is an interesting challenge because the app is 100% browser-based. Here are a couple of ideas:

The "badge" is actually the app in a very micro form which analyses the project and then displays the badge.
Create a web service for collecting analysis results.

Each of these open up some issues to tackle, such as trusting the results, and security.
