https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/9810, seems to be old, but i think these and some other old ones may still work despite this, but we'll have to investigate |
https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/49778, this one looks like a lot of stuff, but it also looks unupdated and I'm not confident that the package contains any maps despite what their advertising suggests. |
https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/16955, also seems unupdated, but looks really darn good |
https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/45188, this looks pretty good for putting objects in grass to add obscuring of objects |
Feel free to look for more from here: |
@jazzguitarist Why is this issue high priority? How does it relate to other issues that we've identified as high priority -- those centered around getting the "control" done? |
For a second form of procedural generation, not using the room, we could instead randomly select from a group of maps (i.e. forest, beach, desert, mountains, etc.). These maps could have a series of procedural placement planes which could be used for randomly placing a group of randomly selected objects and taking pictures of them with randomized light intensity, angles, bounces, etc. The camera can be placed such that it acquires images of said objects at various random angles. I will comment some urls of potential environments as where as a link to the "Top Environments" in the unity asset store. I'm afraid most game ready maps we are looking for will only be found in the asset store/on that page, I don't think many third party sources will offer us game ready unity scenes.
