Custom metadata

Is it possible to pass custom metadata for a song link that uses --url? I want to pass all the required metadata, the only ones that seem relevant are the --artist, --album and the positional song options; but they aren't the complete metadata tags used.

You can use manual metadata option.

ytmdl -m --url "<url>"

Thanks for your response. What I wanted was to be able to provide my own custom data as arguements when running ytmdl --url "<url>".
Something like --url "<url>" --custom-meta --custom-date "<date>" --custom-title "<title>" --custom-artist "<artist>" --custom-album "<album>" --custom-genre "<genre>" --custom-track-no "<number>" --custom-artwork-url "<image-url>"
IIRC passing -m is "interactive".
