This looks exactly like the problem I just encountered.

Since it only crashes when you use a reference image, it's highly likely that the SAM3 mask generation pipeline is triggering a bool dtype crash on CUDA.

Please provide more information regarding the crash. I need at least the full error stack you get in the console
