Abandoned project - viable forks or alternatives

For some reason, there has been no activity on this project for several years.

I have forked this repo and plan to update in case any CVEs are found.

If this is also important to you, you can use it as an alternative:

I also made a "light" version of this project that can only work with DOCX and plain text.
You can use it if you don't need additional functionality from the original package (like PDF, getting data from a URL, etc.)

If you want to improve something or fix some bugs, I am also open to any PRs.
