- 1 c white sugar
- 1/2 c light corn syrup
- 1/4 c water
- 1/4 tsp salt (or use salted roasted peanuts)
- 1 1/2 c roasted peanuts
- 2 Tbsp butter, room temp
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp baking soda
- add sugars and water
- heat to 275ºF, add the peanuts
- cook to 305ºF
- remove from heat, stir in butter
- add baking soda, vanilla, quick mix
- pour on greased baking pan (warm makes it easier to spread
