Add option to expand items in a pop up

Hello! I was wondering if it would be possible to add an option to expand hidden items into a separate popup (similar to Windows / MacOS) instead of within the top bar. This would be useful for small screens where with just some tray icons there is already overlap with other top bar elements.

This seems to be a recurrent desire in the community: [1], [2]

I wonder if it would be possible to add it to Veil.
