Feature Request: progress bar, for full operation and each step

Would be nice to know how far into each step and the whole process you are when doing a full conversion. Might also be nice for deep, recursive scans. Adding a time remaining would probably be difficult but a percentage with a progress bar might be less so.

Thanks for the suggestion. I actually played with this in the past, and it turns out, it's next to impossible to predict how long tools like ffmpeg and mkvmerge will take for any given job. So any type of percentage or time remaining progress indicator would be very inaccurate.

That's why I am using a simple spinner with time elapsed.

I can look into using a percentage based on "how much of the total file have we converted", but since there are multiple steps involved (extraction, conversion, remuxing, all using different tools, piping into one another), it would also be kind of inaccurate.

Unless we do it for each step? But that might look weird from a UI perspective?

A percentage value for each step could work. Could have it look like this:

[ 1 / 3 ] Converting . . . x ( 7 m 5 7 s / 2 3 %)

Where that x is the spinning block. Just an idea.
