Metro UI has been supplanted by the Fluent Design System. Insofar as 1:1 translation of components is concerned, there is great, comprehensive documentation for it, as well as toolkits for Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch and Framer.

I think the complexity is going to be in adhering to each UI system's conventions regarding where a particular type of control should exist. That will probably require more abstraction of the existing components. But the 1:1 equivalent would probably be less daunting, as far as an initial implementation is concerned.
