Unless I am missing somtething, all the functionality of opencv-contrib-python are already contained in the existing py-opencv package maintained at https://github.com/conda-forge/opencv-feedstock (see conda-forge/opencv-feedstock#376).

pip list does not list opencv-contrib-python as an installed python package, but this can be fixed by adding a patch like https://github.com/conda-forge/opencv-feedstock/blob/main/recipe/patches_opencv/0001-Add-installation-of-pip-metadata-from-cmake.patch (for opencv-python) or https://github.com/conda-forge/opencv-feedstock/blob/main/recipe/patches_opencv/0001-Also-install-metadata-for-opencv-python-headless.patch (for opencv-python-headless).
