I ran the esp32ret updater on this board but the device will not connect to SavvyCAN via gvret (haven't tried other methods).
This is SavvyCAN's response. The device remains as not connected under status.

ESP32RET will not work with boards which use CP2102 USB-to-Serial converter as it don't support required 1000000 baud rate.
You can connect external CH9102 or CH340 USB-to-Serial converter to RX0/TX0 pins and it will work.
Also at least on my ESP32 30 pin board, WiFi is not working if I'm flashing using ESP32RET updater.
When building from source code using Arduino IDE, WiFi is working properly
So you can connect to AP created by ESP32RET and use "Network connection (GVRET) in SavvyCAN with 192.168.4.1 IP, instead of serial connection.
Also some ESP32 boards by default are detected as "Macchina A0" then you should use GPIO4 as CAN RX and GPIO5 as CAN TX, and some boards are detected as "EVTV ESP32" then you should use GPIO16(RX2) as CAN RX and GPIO17(TX2) as CAN TX.
If you have working serial console, then you can change board type after flashing firmware.

CP2102 supports only 921600 baud rate, so you need ESP32 devkit with different USB-to-Serial converter or use external USB-to-Serial converter.
Also you can connect to AP created by ESP32RET and use "Network connection (GVRET) in SavvyCAN with 192.168.4.1 IP, instead of serial connection.
