Programmatically controlling code-server

I want to control vscode programmatically, and I think code-server would be better to use than client-side vscode.

Is there a programmatic client for code-server? Or is there an alternative way like CLI?

(I searched for Programmatically, api, but had no luck)

Not really, you can open files and folders from a local-only API or the cli (code-server -r file) but not anything else.

It could be implemented in an extension though, I think.

I managed to achieve what I wanted using a custom extension. Thank you anyway!
