Symptoms:
- Long videos can't be played showing gray overlay with "This content isn't available, try again later"
- Empty codec info in nerd's stats
- no quality menu
- these video aren't old/low resolution, many of them even have 2k or 4k
- Console:
[ImprovedTube] Preventing AI-upscaled "Super Resolution" — capping to 720p.
few days ago: only some videos can play
today: all video fails to play
other test with same version 4.2000 & settings (no playback issue above):
- same chrome profile, but go incognito mode with extension enabled (not logged in)
- 2nd acc in 2nd chrome profile
I guess this is some new feature under A/B test.
Isn't Preventing AI-upscaled "Super Resolution" a toggle option ? It becomes defaults now ?
