auto-proceed viewer discretion dialogues

I want to be able to watch videos I start up without having to confirm these stupid dialogues(esp. annoying in playlists)

Hi @thymue! how are you? why not get a pause (as long as one click), even if you have to research several such videos?
(This is one of the things where we could (rather?) consider to use our design-freedom to support people in self-moderation. I.e. if ever somebody nervously/repeatedly triggers this dialogue then the extension could notice and try to make the dialogue more friendly/therapeutic than it already is.)

Thank you for asking but my mood is irrelevant in this discussion. I ask for this feature because I sometimes listen to these kinds of songs through playlists and it automatically skips songs with these dialogues so I don't get to hear them. Maybe consider only playlists having this feature at least. I don't know Japanese yet so I and probably other people who listen to this song either don't know what it even is about, or they've done some research and know, but still they don't understand when they're listening to it, so it sucks that you have to get through this dialogue to just listen to a nice voice saying meaningless words.

Hi! Yes technically, it is a missing feature and good request. And admittedly we didnt immediately notice the example below the image and that it is popular.

However we assume that there are usually dangerous elements in such content visuals & sound next to language. So that remains a heavier topic than the next features we will get. If you don't care personally then by default you would still rather skip these videos, not to accidentally raise their view counter, making them more popular? (Besides that a whole playlist can be similar and those that miss the alert won't always be better. But assuming in average the alerts make sense.)

Generally as we get more and more features, we need to focus on structure and ordering them by relevance somehow.

There can be two new features:

Playlists:

Auto-Skip Videos with :

• duration above [5] hours (often jokes)
• vertical 9:16 videos,
  • if they are less than 20 seconds duration
• youtube's content warning
  • adult
  • viewer discretion
    • violence
      • self-harm

* maybe youtube's 'auto play' (formerly 'up next') already avoids all of the above? (otherwise this feature could apply there too and wont only belong to playlists🤔)

• cookies
• 'try youtube premium'
• 'are you still there?'
• external link
• content warnings
  • adult
  • violence (get help?😳)
  • self-harm (get help?😳)
