We apologize for the recent inactivity on the Merbridge project. This was due to challenges in time allocation and limited user feedback, which slowed our progress. However, we firmly believe in the value of this project and are committed to revitalizing our efforts.

Future Plans:

• Adaptation to New Service Mesh Versions: We plan to ensure compatibility with the latest service mesh technologies, particularly Istio’s ambient mode, which reached General Availability in version 1.24. 
• Dependency Updates: Regular updates to project dependencies will be conducted to maintain functionality and stability.
• Enhanced Community Engagement: We aim to actively seek and incorporate user feedback, encouraging more developers to contribute and collaborate.
