How can I use proxy for only homepage (only basepath)

Hello,

I want to use the proxy only for the homepage for the '/' path, but I want this proxy not to work when a request like '/foo' comes. How can I restrict to homepage '/' path only in proxy?

I know this is a backwards method, but I need something like this in one of my projects.
