Teseract version upgrade

Hi Charles,

First of all I would like to thank you for your effort and dedication. I want to contribute here by upgrading the underlying teserract version. If you can guide or provide me some documentation to follow then i will try and upgrade the same.

The current process should be documented here: https://github.com/charlesw/tesseract/blob/master/docs/Compling_tesseract_and_leptonica.md Maybe outdated though (usually requires a few minor tweaks based on tesseract process).
