The markdown file needs the disclaimer added in Italics under the question -

This metric is a release candidate The 30 day comment period for this metric begins on xx/xx/xxxx and ends on xx/xx/xxxx. To comment on this metric please see Issue #xx Following the comment period this metric will be included in the next regular release.

I added the disclaimer in PR chaoss/wg-evolution#358

LGTM!
However, I have one minor concern, especially, when we mention "getting a list of all contributors." It's important to first filter out all bots contributors, without which the list of active contributors might be biased by the influence of bots.

@klumb are we ready to move this forward for the next rolling release?

Yes, this can be moved to the website.

Next steps:

  • Change disclaimer in markdown to read - This metric is part of the continuous release process and has been through the 30-day review period. However, the information displayed on this page may still be edited prior to the regular release.
  • Add the metric to the release notes issue Evolution Continous Release Notes wg-evolution#353
  • Add the metric to the website Github release page and release notes page.
  • Add the metrics page to the Wordpress site (I will do this - Kevin)

Note the process is changed so this specific comment is deprecated.

This metric was a bit difficult to follow. I rewrote for legibility in chaoss/wg-evolution#362. Also, the Data Collection Strategy right now reads like "go figure it out yourself" 😄. It could reuse much of the wording in Issue Active to help the reader understand where to go next.

@ilam56, do you have a screenshot of graphing inactive contribution somewhere that could be added in?

This metric could use a refresh for clarity and readability.

Doing a little repo cleanup today and I'm going to close this, as we are currently updating all metrics to a new metric template, including a refresh.
