If substantial changes are made to the metric, it will need to go through the full review process. The working group should determine if a metric has been edited to an extent that requires the full review
Types of metric changes that do not require full review:
Grammar or spelling fixes (not including metric name)
Updates to sections References and Contributors
Three new additions are listed below
We will also add the following to each metric:
Data statement (focused on privacy concerns. Now part of the metrics template at the top of the implementation section)
Add a last reviewed date to each metric reviewed. Make a note that this date is part of a recurring review. Indicate if we did grammar/clarity edits, or put the metric through a full review. This will vary by metric.
Add known synonyms to the metric

Doing a little repo cleanup today and I'm going to close this, as we are updating all metrics to the new template and doing a refresh of them all in the process.
Metrics Review 2022
The common working group will be reviewing these released metrics during 2022. We will review for quality, context, and grammar. Following the guidelines developed for the release checklist, we expect most of these will fall under item 3 in the metrics revision checklist, with changes constituting only spelling, grammar, or clarity edits. https://handbook.chaoss.community/community-handbook/community-initiatives/metrics/releases#revising-existing-metrics:
