Description
Hi,
I dumped the BIOS rom using atiflash on Linux
# ./atiflash -i 3
adapter bn dn dID asic flash romsize test bios p/n
======= == == ==== =============== ============== ======= ==== ================
3 08 00 67DF Ellesmere M25P40/c 80000 pass -
# ./atiflash -s 3 gpu3.rom 0x80000
0x80000 bytes saved, checksum = 0x54B1
# ls -l gpu3.rom
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 524288 ene 11 20:14 gpu3.rom
Then I tried to edit the ROM using Polaris (from master) and I'm getting a warning that says: This BIOS is less than the standard 512KB size. Flashing this BIOS may corrupt your graphics card. Once warning accepted, seems like the rom decoding is OK but I haven't tried to reflash the ROM yet
