[Bug]: Emptying/deleting Emails folders with 1000's of mails is impossible #711

Description

@joolsr

Description

If you want to delete a mail folder with more than 500 emails in it it isn't possible. Firstly you mus 'Empty' the mails from the folder, then Delete the mail folder. After this the emails appear to have gone, but after a refresh they are nearly all back. in fact it appears that 'Emptying' a folder only actually removes only 500 mails at a time. Therefore to remove a big folder its a very long winded process so this is clearer a bug.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Select a mail folder with lots of emails eg 2 or 3000 mails
  2. Click 'Empty' folder
  3. Then click 'Delete' folder (you must empty a folder of emails before you can delete it)
  4. It appears to be gone, but quickly it re-appears , with only at best 500 less emails in the folder

Expected Behavior

All emails to be removed after Emptying a folder
Then deleting folder, mail folder is removed entirely

Actual Behavior

Firstly you must 'Empty' the mails from the folder, then Delete the mail folder.
After this the emails appear to have gone, but after a refresh they are nearly all back. In fact it appears that 'Emptying' a folder only actually removes only 500 mails at a time.
