Please bring support for the new OpenAI Codex tool

If you take the commands from the .claude/commands directory that agentos creates and put them in the ~/.codex/prompts directory you'll be able to use them like slash commands in codex cli (not in the ide extension yet). If you want to use the ide extension you can just copy the command content and paste it in. Both seem to work pretty well in my limited testing.

Yes, that will work. But there is still a minor issue with the subagents, since Codex doesn't yet support subagents.

Codex latest release now has custom command support. Hopefully we can see the associated update from Agent OS to have full codex support soon.

In Agent OS 2.0, you'll want to use single-agent-mode with Codex, and all other tools that are not Claude Code.
