Calling all Golang and Bitcoin enthusiasts to contribute to btcd during the month of Hacktoberfest 2020! 🎉
btcd is a full node bitcoin implementation written in Go. Apart from contributing to the consensus in bitcoin network, btcd also provides basic building blocks to interact with the protocol, making it a popular choice for building Bitcoin-based applications.
We hang out on IRC at #btcd (freenode). Come say hi!
Read the section "What to work on", and pick an issue that interests you. Make sure you comment here, or on the relevant issue indicating that you're going to work on it, to avoid duplication of efforts.

RPC parity with Bitcoin Core (see Bitcoind Feature Parity #1546 for the meta issue). We also have a wiki tracking the list of commands to implement. There are plenty to choose from!
