I am trying to create an .exe of my python application that I run from the server.py script. I am using Auto-py-to-exe which gives me the following command:

pyinstaller --noconfirm --onedir --console --icon "path" --name "name" --add-data "path" --add-data "path" --add-data "path" --hidden-import "openpyxl.cell._writer " --exclude-module "gevent server.py"  "C:/Users/140476/Documents/57956_EXE_ANALISIS_DATO_TALADRADO/server.py"

Is this due to a specific library? Would be interesting for you to get your script and take parts out to find what is causing this (also called a minimal reproducible example).

I have deleted everything that has to do with pymongo and the database that I mentioned before. The only thing I have added is the multiprocessing library. I have read that the library gives problems with py isntaller. Attached is a piece of code in case someone knows how to help me.

Have you seen these?

If you are running PyInstaller < 3.3, you might need to set Popen.

Yes, I have read them. Apparently if you work with --onedir, you don't need to use popen. Also, I am working with a version higher than 3.3 since I have version 6.

Anyway, I really appreciate your help.

It seems that many people have had this problem years ago but I have not been able to find an answer. It must be related to hook-gevent and the gui. Do you know if anyone has managed to make it work?
