windows and web run and show "Connected".

I need to spend more time with the code, aside from the connected I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be seeing.

Are you running in a simulator on the same computer as the server, or are you using a physical device? If so, are you sure localhost:4001 is reachable from your device? You may need to find the exact IP of your computer on your local network and bind the server to that instead of localhost, or try binding the server to 0.0.0.0 and change the Flutter/Dart code to connect to ws://<YOUR_IP>:4001/socket/websocket?vsn=2.0.0 instead.

yup, 0.0.0.0 defaults. I guess using localhost as a sample default doesn't really work. I got my ip from ipconfig and changed lib\main.dart:68
