Submitting a talk shows "max number of submitted talks", but I have no talk submitted

Context

I am trying to submit a talk for the DevFest Lille 2023 event. I submitted talks in the past, but un-submitted them and deleted them. I now have a single talk on my account, which is the one I am trying to submit.

Here, you can see I have no talk submitted for this event:

However, when trying to submit my current talk, I am met with the following message:

Problem being, I already un-submitted all of my talks.

Reproduction

My guess would be:

• Create three talks
• Submit all three talks to a single event
• Delete them / un-submit them from the same event
• Create a fourth talk
• Try to submit this fourth talk to the same event

Misc

What can be done to submit my talk still ? Is there any action that can be taken care of to allow me to submit ?

I think the problem is the same as https://github.com/bpetetot/conference-hall/issues/936, even though for my part I have zero active talks.

Hello @ybadache, I'm trying to find why it doesn't work.

When I check the DB, I can see you submitted 4 proposals to the event, but I see only 1 talk in your talk list.

I think we may have a UX issue on our side between actions to "Unsubmit" a proposal and "Delete" a talk.

I have some questions:

• How many talks do you see in "My talks" page?
• In the "My talks" page, when you select "All talks" (instead of "Active talks"), then how many talks do you see?
• Have you deleted the talks by clicking "Delete" on each talk page?

@EmmanuelDemey increased the threshold on proposals for the event (or all events ?), so functionally speaking, it's done.
(which do not solve our problem :()

About your questions:

• I see a single talk in "My talks" page
• I see a single talk in "My talks" page when selecting "All talks"
• From memory, yes, but I'm not sure, unfortunately, it was two months ago

Do you want me to create a talk, then hit the "Delete" button to have at least one talk with this setup ?
