BlueCFD is released under the GPLv3 license, which generally allows modification, redistribution, and even rebranding of the software—provided that the same license is preserved and proper attribution is given.

We’re considering creating a customized version of BlueCFD by adding new utilities and making it publicly available as an open-source project. To stay compliant, we would include proper credit to BlueCFD and its contributors in our documentation.

Just to be sure: does BlueCFD place any additional restrictions beyond those in GPLv3 that would prevent such use?

Would appreciate any clarification from those familiar with the licensing details!
