We have plans to bring configuration via the UI to Frigate eventually, but much more planning is required as we work with the UI designer Blake has hired in the past. This looks like a great alternative to use externally alongside of Frigate in the meantime. |

Ok, awesome. I will push this to a repo sometime this weekend. Have a few more kinks to work out. Also, as an FYI, I'm working on LLM support for detected events, (demographics detailed analysis etc) I'm working on an overall fork of an NVIDIA NIM https://docs.nvidia.com/vss/index.html ) still a couple of weeks away from sharing that progress, out of the box it requires massive GPU compute. Working on replacing the models with smaller models. BTW good to meet everyone, I've been lurking and a user for years ( almost since inception) but just now slowing down enough to be able to participate. |

Good for you!!! I tried to make an app for this. I think this is HUGE and sure people don't feel it is needed and like they said eventually is going to be a thing. I don't think being pretty is needed at least for now. |

Very much interested. Would this have a setting to increase the size of the screens you see on the main page? Right now I have four cameras and they show as four small windows across the top of the page. In the old version they were in a 2x2 grid and filled the entire page (more or less). I found something that supposedly would do this if you added it to the config file but when I tried it Frigate would not start at all and I suspect it is because yaml files are so picky about spacing and indentation and if you are not a yaml file expert it is easy to get it wrong. So a GUI that would just take care of things like that would be a godsend. Also wish there was a setting that would let you disable recent recordings from being automatically marked as "reviewed" just because someone looks at them once, maybe let you click something to affirmatively mark the recording as reviewed but don't just do it automatically, if that is possible. Oh, and also a setting to start playing recordings with audio always enabled so you don't need to click on the speaker icon. |

if you create a camera group you can edit the layout of that group however you like, the default camera grid size is based on the browser window width |

Would anyone be interested in a UI component for the configuration editor? I've got a version of this running locally that connects to a frigate machine, I will work next to integrate it into the regular UI if there is interest.
