[Frigate+] Should I label all objects in uploaded photo?

When I upload a photo to Frigate+ of a detected car, should I also label all other objects in the photo, and not just the detected car?

Yes, every object should be labeled. If you are a frigate+ subscriber then the suggestions feature will run and attempt to label all objects for you

I am also unsure of this. I just got frigate up and running with the openvino detector and have started uploading and annotating detections to frigate+ with plans to subscribe and download a model once I have enough detections to train it.
Every detection in my driveway has 5-10 cars in the background in neighbour's driveways. Do I really need to label and id all of these extra items every single time? Perhaps I need to subscribe to the plus plan now to have it do that for me. Is that right?

As a follow-up. Some of the cars down the street are barely visible - especially at night. Do I only need to annotate objects that I would expect to be identified by ai? There is probably no point to annotating a dark shadow that I am 100% sure is a car if I would not expect the ai detector to do it. And to confirm - these are outside my alert and detection zones. They are only background objects and motion captures.

Pretend you are teaching a person who lost there memory for what cars look like. You do this by showing them images with cars. When learning, they point to one of these parked cars and say "that's a car, right?". Not labeling the cars in the driveway is just like telling that person, "wrong, that's not a car at all". They will start to become confused and not be sure if cars outside of that area are cars at all.

If the cars are very faint and wouldn't realistically be identifiable to someone who isn't familiar with your camera scene, then you probably shouldn't label it unless you do want it to detect cars in that situation. The cars in plain view look totally different.

That is very helpful. Thank you for the quick reply. I did subscribe to the plus plan, so it is going much quicker now.
I am ignoring the black blobs in the background that I know are cars based on my knowledge outside of looking at the image alone.
