Citizen science through captcha annotation

There could be a service to publish MAIA training proposals or annotation candidates in a captcha-like system for citizen science annotation (within LifeScience RI?). Users could opt-in to the system which will publish their image patches. The collected annotations are aggregated and evaluated in a separate interface. This system could be maintained separately from BIIGLE but needs interfaces to accept newly published patches and feed back "community consensus annotations" back into BIIGLE.
