iOS fails to detect correct exif data with jpegmeta.js

Latest correction in http://code.google.com/p/jsjpegmeta/issues/detail?id=3#makechanges did not fix the problem.
When uploading a photo from camera roll on IOS 6 exif data (GPS coordinates) is not retrieved and we had to default to the gps position of the device to find out the position.

Please provide a sample image that demonstrates the problem; I don't have an iOS device.
