Facebook part not showing

Hi.

I've just install revision 0987497 out of github. I have installed it and I'm getting now errors.
When I add to a page:
{{#TwitterFBLike:|small|like}}

I get a working Twitter icon and count, but no Facebook one.

I'm running on MW 1.17.2.

Any ideas?

Installed the latest MW version and didn't find a problem. Do you have a link to a live site where you can show me?

Hi.

Thanks for getting back to me. I tried again and it worked! I then realised that I had since turned off the add-to-any-share-save button extension.

So I guess there was some sort of clash perhaps. Anyway, all working now. It's great extension!

Hi.

Sorry, may have spoken too soon. I get the Facebook icon and can click
it, but nothing seems to happen Facebook side. The count increments, but I would have
expected the Like to appear in my Facebook page. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding what this extension does?

Hi Neill,

Had a previous issue with Twitter where the counter takes a few hours to update (because of the way Twitter caches). It may be the same with Facebook (your Facebook count is at "1" now so I assume it's working?)

Just tested it there with my Facebook account. Counter incremented and the link posted to my Wall. Any other problems just let me know.

Thanks for your help with this and for testing the link. I wonder why it didn't work for when I clicked. I'll give it a few hours. Good to know it's working though :)

Hi Barry.

I've found what causes the Facebook widget not to appear - it's the Firefox Adblock Plus add on. The odd thing is it doesn't block it if the site is on a subdomain like the example I sent you last week. But if it is on the root domain it then gets blocked by Adblock Plus - see www.aroundisleofwight.info

Do you know why this might be? I'm concerned because Adblock Plus is probably the most popular ad blocker out there.
