Description
Describe the task
Review the existing Input Field component in the UI library.
If a base Input Field component already exists, it must be updated to match the new Design System styles and behaviors documented in Figma.
If no suitable base component exists, a new component must be created.
Purpose
To standardize input fields across the application by ensuring that all input elements use a single, unified Design System component.
Acceptance Criteria
- Component Audit: Determine whether an Input Field component already exists in the UI library. If it exists - update it with new style, If it does not exist - create a new component.
Design System Compliance: The final component (updated or newly created) must:
- Match the Figma Input Field component visually and structurally
- Use DS tokens (colors, spacing, radius, typography)
- Support required variants:
Additional context
Design Source of Truth: All styles, spacing, and behavior must match the Design System in Figma:
Inputs - Text Fields (contains all variants)
Consistent with DS tokens for spacing, border, color, error handling
