Ugreen 5 GbE Adapter not working

Hi !

I've just bought a CM848 Ugreen 5 GbE Adapter on Amazon. I had hoped it would work with it but it doesn't seem to be the case. I top at 1 Gbits/sec and my network settings can't seem to figure the network status:

I'm not hoping for a solution, I'll buy a compatible one. I just wanted to let you know that it doesn't work with this one.

I just did that thanks.

Now here's where I'm stuck regarding setting the 5 Gbps connection on my DS920+ :

• lsusb shows 5000 MBit/s for the USB port
• command line for Jumbo Frame says that it supports MTU
• SMB3 is enabled (minimum is set to SMB2 with large MTU)
• Auto-negociation is set to "off" for the 5 Gbps eth connection
• I was able to change the display of the speed to 2500 but not 5000 (i get an error like "cannot advertise [...]"

Tries a file transfer from my 10 Gbps NAS from the other one with the "5 Gbps" connection ... still stuck at 1 gbps :/

When linking at 5gbps, the link speed is not displayed correctly on the GUI. This is a display issue only and does not affect operation.

Is throughput measured using iperf? If you can post the logs, we may be able to find out something. Also, what model are you using?
