🛠️ Build Dependencies for Arch Linux

To build and install Bazaar on Arch Linux, make sure the following dependencies are installed:

✅ Required Packages (via Pacman)

sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel meson ninja gcc pkgconf \
glib2-devel gtk4 libadwaita

🧩 AUR Package (via yay)

You will also need libdex, which is available in the AUR:

yay -S libdex

If you don’t have yay installed, you can install it with:

1. Install base development tools (if not already installed):

sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

2. Clone the yay repo from AUR:

git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git
cd yay

3. Build and install:

makepkg -si

✅ Test that it works:

yay -V

Should return something like:

yay v12.1.4
