Hi!

I love your badges! Thanks!

Recently I started making alpha releases, and decided to use your latest unstable badge. To my surprize, instead of showing the latest unstable release (like 0.1-alpha2 or dev-develop) it shows the branch that has the latest stable release (like dev-master). Is there something I am missing? Is there something I can do to show the dev-develop branch instead, or an alpha/beta/RC branch/tag?

Can you give an example of a package with this problem?
If the problem is no longer present, please close!
Thanks

Hi! All packages have that problem, I don't think this is an issue related to a specific package. I believe that this may be something related to version sorting that is done by Packagist. Please take a look at this thread, with responses from @Seldaek.

Maybe the last reply in that thread is relevant? Did you try to follow that suggestion?

Looks like Packagist made a change that should fix this issue. I'll see what happens, and get back to you.

Thanks!

The json API now has a default-branch property set to true on the default branch version, see e.g. https://packagist.org/packages/branvo/ebranvo-php-sdk.json has it on dev-develop.
