How to use the provided flake.nix on my NixOS?

I have been a long user of this repository. These two days I installed NixOS on my PC, so I want to use your repository on it too. I have read through the Wiki section about NixOS support and the flake book, but unfortunately, I still can't wrap around my head to figure out how to use the flake.nix you provided.
If I directly refer to it in my nixos-rebuild switch --flake ayamir/nvimdots command, it will complain it doesn't have attributes about system-rebuild etc.
I don't know if I were meant to integrate your flake.nix into mine or it can just run directly with some command. Also, I am seriously confused about if I still need to clone the repository to my .config directory first. From my first impressions to NixOS, I assume I only needs to run commands to execute your flake.nix or my flake.nix with home.nix properly configured, and then all the lua files for actual configurations will be pull to the location. Am I wrong? Thank you!

I managed to let it work by configuring my flake.nix as follows (variable are expressed in <>):

Also, place the programs.neovim.nvimdots config section in your own hierarchy of home-manager nix files, do as the wiki page says.

Then run the nixos-rebuild switch. --flake <flake-url> is unnecessary in this case.
When I run the rebuild command, I don't have the nvim directory under $HOME/.config. Nix successfully created it with only the directories specified in the nixos/default.nix, which is expected. However, the lsp installer failed on those require python3. The messages tell mason can't find python executable in $PATH. I will check if there's anything to setup.

python3 is now available without any additional steps if you set it to programs.neovim.nvimdots.enable.

Try follow step.

1. Create nvimdots.nix
