Unable to paste data to the chat

Describe the bug
Pasting doesn't work via Ctrl+V and context menu "Paste" and "Paste as plain text" commands

To reproduce

1. Copy any text in the IDEA text editor or anywhere in the system
2. Open Amazon Q and click the chat editor field
3. Press Ctrl+V or click the right mouse button and select "Paste" or "Paste as plain text"
4. Nothing happens

Expected behavior
Text from the buffer appears in the editor

Your Environment

• OS: Debian GNU/Linux 13 (trixie)
• JetBrains product: Intellij IDEA
• JetBrains product version: 2026.1.1 Build #IU-261.23567.138, built on April 23, 2026
• Amazon Q version: 4.2.261

Additional context
Copypasting from the Amazon Q editor to the IDEA editor and the system works fine.

Also noticed that if I copy something from the Amazon Q editor field, then copy something else in the IDEA editor, pasting in the Amazon Q editor starts working, but pastes the value I copied from the Amazon Q editor.
