Question about Admin Account Creation and System Wipe

I'm trying to use this to create a new admin account. I already have admin access to the computer, but I'm unable to create a new account via System Preferences.

Do I need to wipe my computer before implementing this bypass, or can I safely run this script first to create the new admin account and then perform the wipe afterward?

My concern is that wiping before creating the new account might cause me to lose the existing admin access I currently have. Any help would be appreciated
