I am trying to connect to QC via USB cable for testing. I selected the correct port(same that Arduino IDE uses) but I cannot get it to communicate with the APM

what baud rate are you using? Also, which version of QGroundControl are you using? I don't think we have the Mavlink 1.0 protocol yet so you'll have to use the 0.9.0 builds
I actually downgraded and am now receiving data through the console. The software doesn't seem to be working correctly. The mission planner looks like it is missing items. I will send a screen shot later today.
