Since ArangoDB 3.10, there is a "read-from-followers" option (https://www.arangodb.com/docs/stable/http/document-address-and-etag.html#read-from-followers).
This should be offered by the feed tool as well.
Note that the option only has effect for certain operations, namely those listed in the linked documentation.
