Just noticed after 50 minutes the ggpu serve becomes in alert mode and It's impossible to restart the GPU agent. Force-reconnect does not work Have to restart the KVM Host. So far the only servers not able to create a VM are the ones that contain a GPU. |

@tatay188 I am not sure if this is because of the GPU server. Can you enable debug logs on the agent and share the logs again? Also, are you able to launch a non-GPU VM on GPU Enabled Host by manually selecting the host during VM start? |

Is my understanding that for your platform Cloudstack only the VMs need the vfio-pci, not the KVM-host. lsmod | grep nvidia ! |

@vishesh92
I ended configuring the KVM as we did for OpenStack, and so far works using vfio-pci as I should be used from the beginning - I though the Cloudstack would/may take care of it via the management-agent communication with the KVM Host. We validated it does not, not a big deal - Now the VM immediately sees the GPU, that is a fantastic Improvement where we do not need to create all the Extraconfig, additionally there is no need to enable the "enable.additional.vm.configuration"
